Preposition কী?

যে word কোনো Noun বা Pronoun-এর আগে বসে বাক্যের অন্য word-এর সাথে তার সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে, তাকে Preposition বলে।

Example:

• The book is on the table.

• The cat is under the chair.

• I go to school.

এখানে on, under, to হলো Preposition।

Since = নির্দিষ্ট সময় থেকে

For = সময়কাল

11. By / With

1. By = দ্বারা

By ব্যবহার করা হয় কোনো ব্যক্তি, প্রাণী বা কর্তার (doer/agent) মাধ্যমে কাজটি সম্পন্ন হয়েছে বোঝাতে।

Examples:

• The letter was written by Rahim.

• The sheep was chased by a dog.

• The mouse was caught by a cat.

2. With = দিয়ে / সঙ্গে

With ব্যবহার করা হয় কোনো বস্তু, যন্ত্র বা উপকরণ (tool/instrument) দ্বারা কাজটি করা হয়েছে বোঝাতে।

Examples:

• He cut the paper with a knife.

• She wrote with a pen.

• The carpenter cut the wood with a saw.

• I went with my friend.

12. Into / In

Into = ভিতরে প্রবেশ

  ➤ মাছটি পানিতে লাফ দিল।
  
  

In = ভিতরে অবস্থান

• The boy is in the room.

13. Out of / Outside

Out of = ভিতর থেকে বাইরে

• She came out of the house.

  ➤ বইগুলো ব্যাগ থেকে বের করো।
  
  

Outside = বাইরে অবস্থান

• She is standing outside the house.
